He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Duplisea (Murray) and James Duplisea; his former wife Marjorie (Wisted); and his siblings, Rosie, Kay and Albert (Al).

He is survived by: his wife Teresa (Simpson); his son Jason (Robyn); and his grandson Samuel.
