He was predeceased by: his parents, Andreas Farmakoulas and Evdokia Farmakoulas (Fouseki); his parents-in-law, Ioannis and Paraskevi Kakopoulos; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Katherine Farmakoulas.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, John Farmakoulas (Lynn), Christina Farmakoulas Walker (Randall) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Marina and Athena Walker; his sister Irene Papaionnou; his nieces, Irene Angelopoulos, Eva Farmakoulas and Gloria Farmakoulas; and his sister-in-law Aliki Ammerman. He is also survived by many cousins, godchildren and close friends.
