We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to James Mortimer of Saint John, New Brunswick, born in Whitney, New Brunswick. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James Mortimer to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Munden Mortimer and Phoebe Mortimer (Paddick); his brother Stuart Mortimer; his sisters-in-law, Gloria O'Dea, Carolyn Marchand (Louis) and Mabel MacEachern; his son Stephen James; and his siblings, Sidney, Fraser, Ray, Gladys Ross and Ruby McVicar.

He is survived by: his wife Ina Mortimer (MacEachern) of Saint John; his children, Paul and Nancy; his grandchildren, Alex (Emma), Chris (Kate), Heather (David) and Benjamin (Valentina); and his great grandchildren, Lizzie, Thomas, Hanna, Robert, Sarah, James and Damon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Due to the pandemic, attendance is limited to 60 pre-reserved seats.

No flowers please, due to allergies. Donations in Jim's memory can be made to the SJRH Palliative Care Unit, Portland United Church, or The United Church of Canada Mission and Service Fund.
