It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James O'Brien (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Kathleen O'Brien (LeGassie). He is survived by: his children, Dorn O'Brien (Tammy) and Elaine O'Brien (Rosalind); his siblings, Norman, Dave (Joyce), Bernadine Patterson, Eleanor O'Brien and Norine Mindrup (Darrel); his grandchildren, Abby, Nathan O'Brien, Hailey Barker (Brandon) and Bret MacTavish; and his great grandchildren, Ezra and Finley Barker. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the Canadian Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
