James Oswald Alexander Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 18, 2021, at the age of 90, James Oswald Alexander (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Norton, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Alexander (Evans); his parents, George Alexander and Edith Alexander (Tabor); his brother Arthur Alexander; his son-in-law Jack Logan; his great grandchild Hazel Logan; his brother-in-law Howard McEwan; and his parents-in-law, Melvin and Viola Evans.

He is survived by: his children, Gwen Hamilton (Robert), Leon Alexander (Debbie), Gary Alexander (Dawn), Stephen Alexander (Sharon) and Wade Alexander (Patti); his siblings, Catherine McEwen and George Alexander (Pat); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Brent, Olivia, Kyle, Leah and Mitchell; his stepgrandsons, Timmy, Nathan, Mark, Adam and Matt; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Asher, Ruby, Ethan, Elliott, Alice, Brooke, Lily and Andersen; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Charlotte, Archer, Ava, Jacob, Nicholas and Mariah; and his close friends, Sylvia and Allyn Bell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all of those, 12 and over, attending the Visitation and Funeral Service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID, or proof of medical exemption.

In Lieu of flowers donations in James's memory can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
