James Walter Holly McLean Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Walter Holly McLean (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Rothesay, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Havelock McLean Jr. and Katharine McLean (Holly); his wife Anna Geraldine (Merrithew); his parents-in-law, Guy and Lena Merrithew; his brothers, Edward W. B. McLean (Ted) and Hugh Havelock McLean III; and his siblings-in-law, Hal Merrithew, Gerald Merrithew, Don Merrithew, Doug Merrithew, Elton Geldart, Bobbie Merrithew, Hazel McLean and Wynona Geldart.
He is survived by: his children, Jim McLean Jr. of Saint John, Brian McLean (Brenda) of Quispamsis, Kathy Connors (Pat) of Riverview and Jane Lee (Wayne) of St. George; his grandchildren, Sarah McNamara (Jon), Joe McLean (Lisa), Brad McLean, Tim McLean, Jamie Connors, Jeffrey Connors (Carolyn), Alyssa MacIsaac (Greg Vincent) and Greg Lee (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Kadin, Sawyer, Cameron McLean, Brady, Ty, Lilia Connors, Brayden McLean, Emily and Holly MacIsaac; his brother Charles; and his sisters-in-law, Annabelle McLean of Upper Coverdale, Mary Merrithew, Rhoda Merrithew and Lorna Merrithew.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
