She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram D'Arcy and Louise D'Arcy (Laing); her husband Norman; and her siblings, James, Leycester, Gilbert, Glenmore, Olive and Sue.
She is survived by: her sons, David Wood (Cheryll) of Kentville, NS, Clive Wood of Long Point, NB and Bruce Wood (Carol) of Rothesay, NB; her brother Delbert D'Arcy (Ruth) of Hampton, NB; her daughter-in-law Beth Wood; her grandchildren, Sherry, Christina, Tony, Robbie, Linda, Andrea, Jennifer, Ashley, Meaghan and Gregory; and her close friends, Susan, Paula and Cheryl. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jean may be made to Bobby's Hospice, Romero House or to the SPCA-Animal Rescue.
