She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Buckle and Frances Buckle (Giggey); her husband Hank; and her brother David. She is survived by: her children, Mark Deichmann of Kingston Peninsula, Jocelyn Deichmann (Gouri Bhuyan) of Delta, BC and Kirsten Deichmann (late Bob Oechsler) of Annapolis, Maryland; her sister Shawn Stubbert (John) of Fredericton, NB; her sister-in-law Cynthia Buckle (late David) of Rothesay, NB; her grandchildren, Johan, Reuben, Thor, Skylar, Luna-Marlene and Carl-Victor; and her great grandchildren, Eimod and Alvida. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a funeral will be held at a later date.

Donations in memory of Joanne may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation, SPCA-Animal Rescue, Trinity Anglican Church-Kingston Peninsula or to the charity of the donor's choice.
