He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard McCarthy and Josephine McCarthy (Wallace); and his sister Elaine Lynch. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle; his daughters, Roxane McCarthy (Ryan Paquet) of Saint John and Shelley Snodgrass (Tom) of Quispamsis; his grandchildren, Nate Snodgrass, Ben Snodgrass and Jesse Paquet; his siblings, Theresa Savage (Leslie) of Douglastown, Katherine Morrison of Nelson, Miramichi and Raymond McCarthy (Mona) of Fredericton; and his brother-in-law Frank Lynch.
