He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edward Sears and Mary Carmel Sears (Taylor); his siblings, Donald Roy Sears and Alva Ida Sears; and his niece Dawn Finnamore.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Stark; and his siblings, Albert Leslie Sears (Cathy Lifford) of Saint John, Marjorie LeBlanc (Bubba), Heather Worden (Chris Hanson), Tina Sears Steen (John) and Lou Burgess (Wes). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:45 PM at the Castle Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Castle "fallsview" Chapel (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A burial will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:10 PM at the Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery (Saint John, NB E2M3Y3).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Animal Rescue League, HIllcrest Baptist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
