He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nice and Helen Nice (Cook); and his brother Eric Nice. He is survived by: his close friend Rose Eastwood-Davidson; his children, Jason Nice and Tanya Nice-Wilson (Paul); his grandchildren, Tayler Nice, Devin, Conner and Zoë Wilson; his siblings, Richard (Diana), Stephen (Judy), Gary Nice and Muriel Brennan (Jack); his siblings-in-law, Tom (Debbie), David (Fe), Edward Eastwood, Donna Willigar (Andrew) and Florence Willigar (Bernie); his aunt Gloria Campbell (Ralph); and his uncles, Norman Ricketts (Karen), Peter Ricketts (Camilla), Tristan and Eric Eastwood. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
