He was predeceased by: his father Russell; and his siblings-in-law, Lona and Andrew. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Tanya (Jamie), Christina (Jeff) and Marc (Sonja); his mother Grace; his siblings, Lorne, Carl (Linda) and Barbara; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Serene, Sophie and Piper.

A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM.

For those who wish, memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Pancreatic cancer foundations or charities of the donor's choice.
