He was predeceased by: his parents, Federson Flewelling and Edna Flewelling (Graham); his wife Edna Hughes; his son Paul; his grandchildren, Michael and Amanda Cyr; his siblings, Robinson (Kitty), Guy and Iona McCutchen; his stepsisters, Marjorie Clark and Agnes Monahan; and his nephews, Frederick McCutcheon and Gordon Flewelling.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne (Debbie), Allan (Janet), Bruce (Kim), Peter (Marg), Ross (Tammy), Wanda Cyr (Raymond) and Jo-Anne Hovey (Arthur); and his sister-in-law Gwen Flewelling. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fundy Chapel (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3).
