She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard McHarg; her parents, Edward Babineau and Eleanor Babineau (Arsenault); and her siblings, James (Joan), Margaret McNulty (Mose), Rita Butler (Thomas), Mary Arseneau (Jerome) and Pauline Theorin (Everett). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Fallsview Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish (541 Milford Rd, Saint John, NB E2M4R5). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (1215 Sand Cove Rd, Saint John, NB E2M5V8).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Josephine's memory can be made to Romero House, Bobby's Hospice, Devine Mercy Catholic School, or the charity of the donor's choice.
