We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2021, at the age of 91, Kathleen Folkins (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Head of Millstream, New Brunswick passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen Folkins to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Hayes and Elsie Hayes (Miller); her husband Murray Folkins; her daughters, Debra Saunders, Diane Kathleen and Susan Veronica; and her grandson Cody Folkins.

She is survived by : her children, Valerie Beck (Harvey) of Barnesville, Lynn Holt (Rick) of Moncton, Kathy Livingstone (Byron) of Saint John, Paul Folkins (Anne) of Saint John, Jack Folkins (Rosemary) of Alma, Randy Folkins (Donna) of Golden Grove, Theresa MacMillan (Curtis) of Cornwall, PE, Krista Bietz (Rick LeBlanc) of Saint John and Kirby Folkins (Dave Walker) of Oromocto; and her sister Sylvia Hayes of Saint John. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren.

“Hi Krista, Lynn, Val and all other family members. Just noticed this news yesterday. Sad to see but know that "mom" has been failing in recent years. And to think of making it to "90" is in itself remarkable. A life fully lived for sure. Neither Jo nor I knew "mom" but know just how loved, respected and cherished she was by all of her loving family. Celebrate her and "dad's" memories and know that good folks don't come any better than yours ! Love, Peter and Joanne”
