He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Barton; his son Michael; and his siblings, John, Doug, David Barton, Shirley Buckley and Frances Lawrence.
He is survived by: his mother Violet Barton; his wife Patricia Barton; his sons, Bruce Barton (Holly) and Jason Barton (Marla); his grandchildren, Lewis Donovan (Jenn), Jeremy Barton (Sam), Tyler Barton (Raylene), Andrea Donovan (Josh) and Amanda Barton (Greg); his great grandchildren, Liam, Caroline, Carson, Jase, Arlo, Owen and Lily; and his brothers, Jim and Raymond Barton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
