With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kenneth Weir (Saint John, New Brunswick), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kenneth left this world on December 9, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Kenneth may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kenneth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vernon Weir and Barbara Margaret McHugh; and his brother Tom. He is survived by: his brothers, David (Cathy) and Allan (Amy); his sister-in-law Diane (Tom); and his nephew John Thomas Weir.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Assumption Parish (360 Dufferin Row, Saint John, NB E2M2J8). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (327 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G2). A reception will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Assumption Centre (721 Chapel St, Saint John, NB E2M2K3).
In Lieu of flowers donations to Bobby's Hospice or the Assumption Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
