With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo McIvor of Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond McIvor and Alfreda McIvor (Jaillet); his wife Laura; and his sister Joanne Lena McIvor. He is survived by : his children, Michael McIvor (Starr) and Nicole McIvor (Andre) of Saint John; his siblings, Patricia Caissie (Bernie) of Moncton, Joanne Breau (Rheal) of Grand Barachois, Carol McNair (David) of Saint John, Beverley Szemerda (Dan) of Saint John, Ron McIvor (Sharon) of Saint John and Rick McIvor (Anne) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Taylor, Zack, Dakota, Dylan and Maya; his great grandchild Cole; his step-children, Jamie (Patsy) of Saint John, Timmy of Saint John, Jeff (Darlene) of Saint John, Ricky of Saint John, Tammy of Saint John and Tanya of Saint John; and his sister-in-law Sandra. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 30th 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 31st 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3).

Leo had a heart of gold when it came to helping others, giving donations to auctions for friends, calling all for help with this if needed and asked for nothing in return.
