He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Sproul and Gladys Sproul (Danford); his siblings, Francis, Dorothy Myles (Phil) and Jean Harris (Brian); and his siblings-in-law, Doug Atkinson and Deena Sproul.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie (Herrington); his children, Melissa London (Chris), Jason (Lana) and James (Belinda); his mother-in-law Doris Herrington; his siblings, Fred (Valerie), Albert, Roy (Brenda), Doug, John (Colleen), Murray (Carla), Paul (Mindy), Margaret Atkinson, Mary Nicol (Don), Betty Caswell (Jack), Janet Kilpatrick (Ron) and Jane Garnett; his siblings-in-law, Sue Ekstrom (Steve), Larry Herrington (Vicky) and Marie Sproul; and his grandchildren, Emily, Meghan, Matthew, Luke, Elijah, Tommy, Kenny, Sarah, Stevi, Samantha, Aidan and Natalie. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
