She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Peter and Margaret Mary Whalen (Emery). She is survived by: her stepmother Josephine Julia Whalen (Riley); her husband Vincent Thomas Wakim Shannon; her children, Lesley (Steve Wilton), Matthew (Emilie Gelinas) and Ottawa; her grandson Zachary; and her siblings, Carole (late Derek Hamilton) and Emery (Barb Whalen). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
