With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcel Gerard Bourgeois of Saint John, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2024 at the age of 57. He was predeceased by: his parents, Captain Joseph and Margaret Bourgeois (Ryan) of West Arichat, NS.; his brothers-in-law, Winston MacPhail and Kevin Peach Sr.; his nephew Julien Babin; and his great-nephew Theodore Short.
He is survived by: his wife Mollie Bourgeois (Landry); his daughter Damica Bourgeois of Saint John, NB; his in-laws, Cyprian and Magdalene Landry of Petit de Grat, NS; his siblings, Anna MacPhail, Judy Morris of West Arichat, NS, Diane MacNeil (Disma Plourde) of Caraquet, NB, Yvette Silver of Truro, NS, Yvette Bourgeois (Bud McNeil) of Glace Bay, NS and Michel Bourgeois of West Arichat, NS; his brother-in-law Lauchie Landry of Petit de Grat, NS; his stepdaughters, Angie, Kelsey and Carley; his stepgrandchildren, Evie, Lilah, Gage, Jackson and Holden; his nieces and nephews, Charlene Short (Eugene), Brandon Short (Jade), Weldon MacPhail (Michele), Jocksey MacPhail, Tanya MacPhail (Joey Browne), Cameron Browne, Owen Browne, Crystal MacPhail (Jay Legere), Joe MacNeil (Melinda), Stella MacNeil, Ellie MacNeil, Allison MacNeil, Savannah Silver, Elijah Long, Thomas Silver (Joanne), Gracie Silver, Juliet Silver, Agnes McCormick, Jessica Peach, Kevin Peach Jr., Anthony Bourgeois (Jora), Michael Bourgeois and Hannah O'Toole; and his godchildren, Jada O'Toole and Elvis Pettipas.
