She was predeceased by: her parent Harold Simms; and her siblings, Evelyn, Vernon, Vincent and Harold.

She is survived by: her parent Myrtle Simms (Miller); her daughters, Sherry Seale (Wayne Funk) and Norma Holmes; her grandchildren, Jasmine Seale-Funk and Mareza Seale-Funk; and her sister Muriel Holmes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as several close friends.
