She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Louis and Helen Josephine Picard (Duffy); and her sisters, June, Kathleen and Joyce.

She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Picard of Saskatchewan; her sisters, Diane Picard and Patricia Augustine; her grandsons, Mathew and Daniel Lotzien; and her great grandchildren, Octavia, Elie and Misha. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in Marie's memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
