She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Horsnell and Alice E. Horsnell (Cordrey); her husband Murdoch Whitcomb; her granddaughter Katherine Elizabeth MacNeill; her siblings, Alfred "Sonny" Horsnell (Dorothy), Phyllis Horsnell, Doreen Blair (Fred) and Lillian Kimmo; and her brother-in-law James McMullin.

She is survived by : her children, Richard Whitcomb (Roberta) of Saint John, Ross Whitcomb (Trisha) of Saint John, Jane MacNeill (Greg) of Timberlea, N. S. and Jennifer Gosse (Norman) of Bedford, N. S.; her siblings, John Horsnell (Ann) of Lake George, N. B. and Gwen McMullin (James Scott) of Fredericton, N. B.; her brother-in-law Bill Kimmo (Ont) of Toronto; her grandchildren, Sean Whitcomb (Kayla Cooper), Elizabeth Whitcomb (Mark Macdonald), Cameron Whitcomb (Mary), Michael Whitcomb (Renee Kinden), Emily Whitcomb, Gregory Whitcomb, Eric MacNeill (Anna Rose) and Gillian MacNeill; her stepgrandchildren, Christopher Gosse (Courtenay Kyle) and Michelle Gosse; her great grandchild Oliver Whitcomb; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Deacon Gosse, Vera James, Ethan and Ella Macdonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
