She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Thibodeau and Mary Jane Thibodeau (Holmes); her husband Eugene "Gene" Murray; and her siblings, Ben, Alec Thibodeau and Shirley LeBlanc.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Murray (Cindy) of Peterborough, ON, Shirley Marshallsea (Ross) of Melbourne and Pat Murray (Denise) of Saint John; her grandchildren, Andrew (Kelsey), Michelle (Justin), Melissa (Blake), Clare, Evan, Gregory and Ashlyn; her great grandchildren, Addison, Aubrey, Ava, Lucy, Lily, Griffin, Autumn, Isabelle, Clara and Amy; her sister Cecile LeBlanc (Camille) of Bouctouche, NB; her friends, Linda Burton, Lodia Breau and Florence Allen; and her caregiver Seely Lodge.

In lieu of flowers donations in Josie's memory can be made to Bobby's Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
