Mathilda Ward Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mathilda Ward (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Pokemouche, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Burbridge and Elizabeth Burbridge (Noel); and her siblings, David, Frankie Burbridge, Barbara Mazerolle and Muriel Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Nelson Ward; her children, Robert (Mandie), Jason (Christine), Ricky (Terry-Lynn) and Susan Ward (Adrian); her siblings, Richard, Robert, Henry Burbridge, Pauline Basque, Kathleen Ram, Martha Dyer and Lydia Robichaud; her grandchildren, Elisa, Zachary, Jonathan, Cohen, Caylynn, Jazzlynn and Jaren; and her great grandchildren, Lainey, Mathilda "Tilly", Ava and Ayden.
For those who wish, donations in Mathilda's memory may be made to the ALS Society of Canada or the IWK Children's Hospital.
