He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Antoon Daamen (Hendricks), Harold and Jessie Brown (Muir). He is survived by: his parents, Martin Daamen and Marion Daamen (Brown); and his siblings, Cynthia Dunham of Saint John, Anthony Daamen (Kelley) of Saint John, Crystal, Westfield, Christina Potter (Todd) of Harvey Station and Stephanie Dempster (Kevin) of Quispamsis. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews; 5 great nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
