He was predeceased by: his parents, George Reuel Parks and Marguerite Parks (Kearns); and his brothers, Brian, Duane, Delbert and Bernard Parks.

He is survived by: his wife Annette; his children, Michael Jr. (Rachel) and Judith Ann Smith; his siblings, Randy (Darlene), Kevin (Annette), Janice Gaudet (John), Sharon Barry, Patsy Parks (Judith) and Marilyn LeBlanc (Raymond); his grandchildren, Trevor, Katherine Ann, Cheyenne, Corey and Jonathon; and his great grandchildren, Riley and Rylan. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Arthritis Society or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
