She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Baxter and Millie Baxter (Ganong); her husband Frank; her son-in-law Allan Sherwood; her brother-in-law Stanley George; and her grandson Jeremy.
She is survived by: her children, David Murray Stevens (Ruth), John Harold Stevens (Judy), James Anthony Stevens, Sara Jane Sherwood and Helen Patricia Laite (Terry); her sister Sheila Ann George; and her close friend Carol. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
