With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Muriel Marguerite Gaunce (Saint John, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2026 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas Flowers and Louise Nancy Flowers (Hampton); her husband James A. Gaunce; her sons, Little Jimmy and Terry; and her siblings, Freddy, Dougie, Alice, Marion, Pat and Billy.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Harder (Stephen) of West Branch, N. S., Gary Gaunce (Mary Ellen) of Grand Bay and Linda Thibodeau (Jerry) of Grand Bay; her grandchildren, Katie, Krista, Matthew, Laura, Kelsey, Jeremiah, Melissa, Megan and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Georgia, Emmery, Ethan, Liam, Olivia, Dreyson, Preston, Aubrey, Stanley, Caleb, Max, Oliver, Malcolm and Glenny; her sister Hazel Corbett (Bobby) of Grand Bay; and her child Westfield. She is also survived by her children, grand children and great- grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Brundage Point (4 Ferry Rd, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB E5K0A8).
