He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hartt-Piers; his daughters, Heather Piers and Keltie Piers-Pharand (Garth); his stepchildren, Patty Merserau-Marshall, Jay Mersereau (Sheri) and Robin Mersereau-Kerr (Mark); his grandchildren, Kayle Mather, Farren Mather, Katie Kerr, Maddison Kerr, Baylee Marshall, Nate Marshall, Morgan Mersereau, Alyssa Mersereau and Nicole Mersereau; his great grandchild Scotia Mather; his brother Vernon Piers (Karen); and his sibling's children, Trevor Piers (Angela) and Jillian Cormier (Mark). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and many friends.
