She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Dowd and Jean Dowd (Humphrey); her siblings, Marilyn Boyce, Pat Patten and Bill Dowd; her sister-in-law Diane Dowd; and her son-in-law David Leger.
She is survived by: her significant other Robert Couillard; her friend Frank Comeau; her children, Laurie Leger-Lester (Steve) of Grand Bay and Michael Comeau (Helen) of Summerville; her siblings, Bruce Dowd (Ruth), Terry Dowd (Rosella), Cindy McKenna (Tom) and Maureen Keenan (Mike); and her grandchildren, Mallory (Cruise), Regan (Evan), Zachary, Bryce and Jacob. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
