He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Leard and Irene Leard (Golding); his wife Donna; and his brothers, Daniel and Leonard.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Duke (late Bob) of Saint John, Michelle Leard (Gustavo Bautista) of Quispamsis and Neal Leard (Erin Brien) of Saint John; and his grandchildren, Owen and Mia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cherished friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fundy Chapel (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3).
