He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Tarrant and Frances Tarrant (Murphy). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia (Rennie); his sons, Scott (Jennifer) of Truro, NS, Rick (Shulilah) of Fredericton, NB and Trevor (Catherine) of Fredericton, NB; his siblings, Benjamin Jr. of Halifax, NS, Brian of Newfoundland, Quint of Newfoundland, Theo of Newfoundland, Geoff of Newfoundland, Darren (Rosalind) of Newfoundland, Daphne, Lillian (Carola), Eva (Vicki) and Delores (Pascale) of Newfoundland; his grandchildren, Cameron, Mitchell, Isaac (Mercedes), Wyatt, Grace (Isaiah) and Claire; and his great grandchildren, Landen and Oaklan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
