He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hicks and Ruby Hicks (Ayer); his sister Carol; and his daughter Dr. Sandee Hicks-Moore. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Hicks (Hicks); his son Randy Hicks (Lisa) of Bangor, ME; his son-in-law Scott Moore of Saint John; his grandchildren, Grace, Mason, Ethan and Robyn; his stepgranddaughter Jennifer; and his brothers, Richard Hicks (Ann) of Sackville, Larry Hicks (Eva) of Moncton and Phillip Hicks (Karen) of Hilden, NS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the public health pandemic restrictions, a private graveside service has already taken place in Fernhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of one's choice.
