Norman Douglas Melanson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Douglas Melanson (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on June 4, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his cousins, Michael Horgan, Laurence Bodaly, Bobby and Marjorie Bodaly (Bright); and also, Edna, Leonard (Ruth Allen), Helena, Alderic, Aurore, Abby, Mike (Alma Evans) and Jerome Horgan.
He is survived by: his aunts, Rose Horgan (Melanson) of Saint John and Barb Melanson (late Abby) of Quispamsis; and his cousins, Elizabeth Horgan (Andrew Cusack) of Saint John, Korrin Melanson Metcalf (Bart), Suzanne Lenihan Bodaly (late Laurence) of Quispamsis, Elizabeth Bodaly Hatt (Wayne) of Ontario and David Stillwell (Lona) of Nova Scotia.
Due to the current Covid-19 Restrictions, a private funeral will be held to celebrate Norman's life and he will be interred at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Norman can be made to the Cathedral Restoration Fund, Canadian Mental Health Society or charity of the donor's choice.
