He was predeceased by: his parents, Roxie Rose and Edward Rose; and his siblings, Lawrence Rose and Lenore Steele. He is survived by: his close friend Phyllis Colwell; his children, Chris Stewart (John Stewart), Debra Fitzgerald (Don Fitzgerald) and Steve Rose (Ingrid Rose); his niece Linda Parker (Charlie Parker); his grandchildren, Trevor, Trent Baxter (Jenn Baxter), Erica Rose (Tomi Rose), Elliot and Will Rose (Emily Schurrmann); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jennifer Parker, Jocelyn Parker Whalley (Dennis Whalley), Kristopher Parker (Kelly Parker) and Rebecca Parker Correia (Cory Correia). He is also survived by great grandchildren and great grandnieces and nephews.

A celebration of life shall be scheduled in the future, covid permitting.
