He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ouellette and Irena Ouellette (Daigle); and his brothers, Gerald, Leo, Fernand and Eric.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rachelle O'Donnell (Bill) of Willow Grove, Carole Vautour of St. Louis and Monique Wooden (Raymond) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Brooklynn, Jaxon and Sydney; his siblings, Yvon Ouellette (Cecile) of Moncton, Alpha Ouellette (Simone) of Richibucto, Luc Ouellette (Connie) of Saint John, Rheal Ouellette (Denise) of Alberta, Ron Ouellette of Bouctouche and Yvonne Johnson (Roger) of Richibucto; and his pet Abby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
