He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bernard O'Connor and Gertrude O'Connor (Logan). He is survived by: his wife Joanne O'Connor (Hughes); his daughters, Tara Colleen O'Connor (David Pye) and Dr. Erin Maureen O'Connor (Ben Kenney); his grandchildren, Rory and Maeve; his siblings, Terrance O'Connor (Charlene), William O'Connor (Donna) and Kathleen O'Connor; his sister-in-law Martha Hughes; and his cousin Nancy Liuzzo. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care Unit at Saint John Regional Hospital or to Bobby's Hospice are encouraged.
