He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Fennell (Boyle) and Gerald Fennell; and his brother Francis. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his daughters, Colleen Fennell (Blaine MacArthur) of Dartmouth, NS and Erinn Fennell of Saint John, NB; his brother Edward of Belleisle; his grandchildren, Katelyn Pettigrew (Phil), Geordie Macdonald (Dom) and Rory Fennell; his great grandchild Logan Pettigrew; and his stepfather Gerald Carpenter of Lower Kars, NB..
