He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Frenette and Lina Frenette (Aube); his brother Gaston (Elise) of Edmonton, AB; and his brother-in-law Frank Donovan of Saint John. He is survived by: his sisters, Leona (Paul) of Fredericton, Felice (Gerald) of Fredericton, Della (Gary) of Saint John, Pamela (Tony) of Saint John, Denise (Mark) of Saint John and Margot (Michael) of Saint John. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
