She was predeceased by : her parents, Hattie Edna (Scribner) and Joseph Winfred Middleton; her husband Lewis; her granddaughter Shelby Lynn Gallie; and her siblings, Emily Robertson, Russell, George and Kenneth Middleton.
She is survived by : her children, Joseph Smith (Elizabeth) of Saint John, Paulette Melanson (William) of Musquash, Thomas Smith (Shirley) of Saint John, Gale Collins (Jerry) of Quispamsis and Tammy Oliver (David) of Quispamsis; her grandchildren, Barclay Melanson (Jennifer), Melanie Lyons (Patrick), Erin Smith (Nathan), Scott Smith (Lindsay), Danial Smith (Monique), Melissa Smith, Katie Oliver (Jesse) and Holly Oliver; and her great grandchildren, Calista, Kiefer, Brock Lyons, Keaton Melanson, Grayson, Hudson Pipes, Nova, Bowen Pelletier, Charlie Foster and Brittan Gallie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 12th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 13th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Castle "fallsview" Chapel. A burial was held on Saturday, February 13th 2021 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery (1650 Manawagonish Rd, Saint John, NB E2M3Y3). Please be advised due to COVID-19 only 25 people are allowed entry at a time.
In lieu of flowers donations in Pauline's memory can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
