With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Irene Hanlon (Saint John, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Lawrence and Bertha Lawrence (Lumsden); her husband Donald Hanlon; her former husband James Elliott; her daughter Sharon Clements; her siblings, Harold Lawrence (late Florence), Marjorie Coholan (late Bill), Vi Fairweather (late Albert), Mae Berry (late Gerard) and Bertie Doyle (late Colin); and her great great grandchild George Northrup.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Noel Cusack (Tom); her niece Nancy (McClary) Rioux (Pierre); her caregiver Alice McCarville; her sons, Larry Elliott (Gail), Greg Hanlon (Heidi) and Daryl Hanlon (Wendy); her son-in-law Danny Clements; and her grandchildren, Troy Clements (Marie), Todd Clements (Tanya), Terry Gaudet (Vic), Janice Jordan (Kris), Matthew Hanlon (Kaylee), Brennan Hanlon, Christopher, Cody and Caitlyn Hanlon. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
