He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Braid and Ellen Braid (Dunham); and his siblings, Willard, Murray, Ronald, Ethel, Gertrude, Maude and Jessie.
He is survived by: his wife Flora (Stanton); his daughters, Cheryl Pazia (Allan), Shelley Smith (Peter) and Lesley Anthony (Stephen); his grandchildren, Kathryn (Martin), Brittany, Owen (Claudia), Nathan (Ashley) and Brandon (Faith); and his great grandchildren, Madeleine, James, Kinsley and Kambree. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
