He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hope and Edith Hope (McIntyre); his children, Kirkland Hope and Teala Cain; his son-in-law Mark Cain; and his siblings, Andrew, Bruce, Mary, Hazel, Annie, Ruth and Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Vona; his children, Zane (Catherine), Nathan (Patricia), Tennyson (Rose), Bobby (Leona), Morgan (Gwen), Vona MacMillan (Danny) and Anita Barrie (Kevin); and his granddaughter Tera Cain. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
