He was predeceased by: his parents, William Legere and Mary Legere; his wife Edith "Edie" Marilyn Legere; his son Paul Legere; his siblings, Lawrence, Ron, Gerald, Murray, Freda, Evelyn and Theresa; and his niece Wendy Cockman.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Sweeney (Gene), Tony Legere and Su-Anne Gray; his grandchildren, Ashley, Bradley, Jillian, Deanna, Joshua, Adrian, Rebecca and Shayne; his great grandchildren, Liam, Carter, Hudson, Avery "Little Girl", Ollie, Abby, Oaklynn, Olivia and Julia; his sister Doreen Legere; and his sister-in-law Audrey Legere. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
