He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Shirley Whittaker; and his parents, Alfred and Margaret of Saint John. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Rose Whittaker; his children, Michael Whittaker (Sara), Michelle (Thom Fulton) and Mark Whittaker (April Cunningham); his great grandchild Noelle; and his siblings, Ronald Whittaker, Robert Whittaker (Marilyn), Donald Whitaker (Autumn), Murray Whitaker (Christine), Mary Ann Collette (Robert), Lynda Gilbert (Greg) and Brenda Whitaker (Patrick Mulcahy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
