He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilyard Matheson and Lillian Matheson (Underwood). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Linda Starr O'Keefe (Logan); his children, Douglas Ronald (Carolyn), Donald Murray (Wendy), Clayton Edward (Colleen) and Starr Burnside (David); his siblings, Terry (Lynn), Margo and Chris Matheson; his grandchildren, Andrea, Cody, Connor, Tristen, Bailey and Jaxson; and his great grandchildren, Lauren and Claire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in Rennie's memory can be made to Bobby's Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
