He is survived by: his wife Joyce Doucette (Calder); his sons, Richard Mark Buchanan (Sharon) of Moncton, NB and Roderick Buchanan (Julie) of Kamloops, BC; his stepchildren, Catherine Doucette (Pierre), Debbie Doucette-Kneeland (Carl) and Rick Doucette (Amanda) of Ottawa, ON; and his siblings, James Buchanan (Jean) of Moncton, NB and Linda Buchanan of Sydney, NS. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
