Richard Allen Dean Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dean and Constance Dean Jeddrey; his stepfather Edward Jeddrey; his parents-in-law, Henry and Agatha Bridges; his siblings, Debbie Wilson, Thelma Dean, Linda Dean, Tom Dean, William Dean, Barb Young and Norma Humbly; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Bridges, Justin Bridges, Kenny Bridges, Rickey Bridges, Leonard Bridges (Nanci), Diane Brown, Trudy Matheson, Bruce Reeves, Rudolphe Dupere and Sharon Dean.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dean; his children, Micheal Foster (Shannan Melvin), Natasha (Peter Gomke) and Rick; his grandchildren, Devon, Halie, Declan, Bryston and Jordan; his siblings, Doug, Donnie, Daniel (Bessie), David (Sue) and Stephen (Rita); and his siblings-in-law, Albert Bridges (Sam), Iva Everett, Bernetta Reeves, Doreen Dupere, Genevieve Wilson (John), Gwendy Bridges, Lucia Bridges Gallant, Darlene Bridges, Norm Brown, Pam Dean and Wally Wilson. He is also survived by his three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home Reception Centre (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3).
